Golden Bell is a live band / DJ hybrid for private events and weddings. We’re a collective of full-time, touring musicians. As a horn player or drummer on a Golden Bell gig, your job is to add hype, energy and heart to the tracks that are being dropped, and to help deliver an epic dance party to the guests of each event. It’s an incredibly fun and energizing gig, and the crew of musicians we’ve assembled are amazing to work with. You’re responsible for memorizing a handful of routines, and otherwise the music generally consists of improvised horn lines and solos.
Pay: Musicians are paid $550 per local event as a base, with more pay available to those helping set up and tear down sound systems. We also have a training program for our musicians to learn to DJ, MC and lead events. Event leads are paid $1550 per local event.

In the spirit of showcasing yourselves in a the context similar to what an event would be like with us, we’re providing you with the audio files for two routines. Please capture yourselves playing the horn lines we’ve outlined throughout the routine in the video examples provided, and taking a solo over the instrumental section identified.
